#1 - New beginnings...

Hello everyone,

Welcome to the first devlog of this project, on these parts I go around by the name of Stifle and this is my most ambitious and import personal challenge for the new year of 2018. As a passionate game developer, I've always struggled with finishing video games to a point where I felt happy enough to publish them online (hence why I only have one publication so far), to which I came up with this idea of new year, new me, new challenge, henceforth the temporary name of Project 2018 came to be.

This project is a 12 month period development of a video game from complete scratch to (hopefully) it's rather stable release in whatever state it'll end up to be (pre-alpha, alpha, beta, gama, whatever!) starting today on the 1st of February 2018, all the way up to the next year, in the 1st of February 2019.

The goal is to start development on the game today, and write devlogs on progress on a biweekly-to-monthly basis (which means if I have sufficient progress after 2 weeks to write a devlog on it I shall, otherwise it'll be postponed to a monthly update). The main reason for this is honestly to keep me incentivized on developing the game, as well as to reord a sort of diary from when everything started all the way to it's final stage. Development starts now, so at the moment there is nothing to show for, which really there shouldn't be any reason why you'd be reading this, but if you are, kudos to you, I'll feel your support, somehow!

On each devlog I will write a sort of changelog for what's been done in the past update, and what's the milestone/goals I set to be achieved on the next update, as well as detailing what's been dropped, changed and updating the project's main page so, without further ado, here we go:

# Changelog
